April 2019 So what’s new with The Abbeystills ? Quite a lot really ! The last three “The Abbeystills” albums were recorded with “Sound Management Corporation”, a Distributor/Record label based in the North of Italy, (all these albums and individual songs are available for purchase via N1m on iTunes !). What support they gave us was welcome, the problem was they promoted club and dance music and anyone that has heard “The Abbeystills” will be aware that it is not really our genre ! We decided that it would be better to do everything ourselves, we have a new album almost completed a combination of new songs, finished songs and remixes that we will have to somehow sell to keep us in the game ! The fact that Alessio is in Italy and we are in Scotland makes live performance quite difficult. We are planning on selling the album maybe via Bandcamp or imusician – more info to follow.
