Running In Sand
Song Reviews
Yessss!
I love the melody of this song. The singers voice is unique and the song in general gives me an 80’s feel! The lyrics are amazing too. I could listen to this song everyday! It should be on the radio :)

FULL FEELING
The same melody can be interpreted softly, melodiously, joyfully, raw, playful, and in many ways sung or played by an instrument. Think of a metal song, a children's song or a romantic song. Of course, this is not a purely compositional aspect, but we must take it into account as it influences notoriously. Thinking about how the melody should sound, even the timbre of it is a very important aspect. Very good song. My congratulations.

Nice!
Nice smooth vocal lead, I like the production sound and the laid back feel of the track. I can feel the heart in this showing you've put in some dedicated work on your art. I love the message More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. If you're ever looking for a hip hop collaboration hit me up I'm versatile. Peace!

The Abbeystills, open.
This is unusual to find soul and skills on amateur musician’s tracks. I was pleased to find out that the Abbeystills are not deceiving at all. There is a touch of Cindy Lauper in the lead’s singer’s voice, melodies are going around and they go with ease to take you to a universe touching and sensitive, where a real mood floats. I give a four only because the Guitar they use has a tendency to irritate, made of too much electronics that at the end sounds like plastic, but this is subjective, maybe you ll like that type of sounding guitars. Well, I wish to play things like that often on N1M...I ll go again find the Abbeystills and enjoy genuine songs with great spirit.

ON ONE'S JACK
Hi ,One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love.We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of peace.Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver. Thanks for good song and good luck.

The Abbeystills | Running in Sand | Review
I like the way the song started off! This song definitely sounds like it belongs in a movie. So far I actually like it, the lyrics are motivating which at this moment in life, it is very much needed. Swear I feel like I'm watching some sort of movie, filmed in N.Y. with some walking after being so down, has been uplifted. The only thing I would say is the lenght of the song should revised to be a little shorter then 4minutes

Sand Storm
One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song, probably my favorite so far from The Abbeytstills, the Kate Bush inspired vocals glide smoothly along the simple yet refined production quality and mixing. Song ready for the Adult Contemporary US Top 40.

A unique style
It is a unique style. Sound like an unplug recording. It would be really nice if you can add harmony to your tune, including the string back ground. I like the guitar effect though the drums seem to be too soft at the middle of the song. Good work, keep it up.

Running in sand Abbeystills
This is my second review of this artist and the impressions that I have are basically the same. And that is there is some good hope and opportunity for this I would think. Running in sand is another song I could imagine seeing a club or coffee shop happy to have playing in the background while their audience is enjoying their drink or coffee. The great big advantage in being able to do such a thing one way or another with music is that the audience is already there. Trying to push pull and drag people into a venue can be err destroying. I can also see this music being used for streaming into shops or public spaces over prepared taped broadcast. I can remember trying to get some work for a very accomplished keyboard player who was visiting London we went around south Kensington an he did his keyboard god thing and the club owner did not like it even if it was awesome but these clubs filled with people ALREADY would have liked this.

Running on Sand
Great introduction, no fuss and inviting. Good melodic guitar work and sensitive mixing punchy vocals maybe could have used some sympathetic harmony lines to soften up a delicate message, Running in Sand is an evocative lyric and title with a wistful charm, dream like and yearning dreamlike in its story telling. I’m trying to recall who you sound like but maybe that’s not so important as the fact that your voice pulls me in t want to carry on listening to you and your song. The beat is interesting, not one I would make my first choice but certainly fits in with the overall vibe of the song. I like it a lot and shall be taking a look listen to your other songs and arrangement s on here, I doubt that I will be disappointed in fact I’m very much looking forward to it. Well crafted and composed, good arrangement delicately dealt with. Very nice indeed

Passionate vocalist
Gotta admit it - I noticed how passionate you are just by listening to your vocals. It really fine tuned me to paying attention to your story telling through music. It doesn't get any better than that vocally wise. Otherwise everything seems fake and unrealistic. Good job on your vocal delivery. Just try to update your effects on them so they are able to compete with today's music which tends to have strong effects. If you like them old school like that it's still fine, just don't be scared to experiment. Then got a chance to listen to your backing vocals and noticed how they turn to be a little more bright here and there, making it hard sometimes for main vocals to shine. My advice: try turning down a bit say -1db to -2db or til your main vocals shine without everything sounding crowded. As for choice between bass and drum as well as going Electronic. The year is 2020 now - if I were you I would go the Electronic route. That's what's hot right now. Again - a little Electronic here and there does go a long way especially if you prefer your music to remain old school. Overall I like how your track was mixed especially your passionate vocal abilities. Little tweaks here and there while experimenting with effects and Electronic beats will modernise your brand. All the best!

Sophisticated Pop-Song
Soft played arpeggios on a fender stratocaster guitar carry the recording and the accompaining keyboard sounds creating in addidition a melodious space in the background. The slow beat makes this wonderful arrangement complete. Valentina Cazzola´s unique voice and the chorus comes from the heart and touches the soul. She brings really feeling into the sophisticated lyrics. The bridge of this song is an extra factor and brings additionally beauty into the music. This band consists a routined cast of musicians who understand what good music is about. The recording is professional mixed and mastered. I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Running In Sand
This Track is Well Produced,& Preformed, from The Lovely Guitar /Drum Interlude at the start,& between Verses. All Vocals are well done. The lyrics are captivating; a sign of the times, in this difficult world. They indicate that there is no escape. "But wait, Stop running, in our minds..Stand still and face it, we're just running in the sand....Well Done.
