Tommy McManus, founder of the Acchords achieved celebrity status through The Joe Franklin Show and hundreds of voice-over commercials, TV, Movies and his appearances at Westbury Music Fair and Patchogue Theater. He is a charismatic foundation who brings sweet sounding harmony to life in each performance. Dennis Dell is the kid from the Bronx with smooth vocal ability that lends brightness to the group as first tenor and leads. Just a few of his former associations included the Mello Kings and lead for Lenny Coco's Chimes from 2015 to 2017. He is a welcome addition to the Acchords

Warren Tesoro is a versatile artist who has performed with many famous Doo-Wop groups but most noted for his association with Norman Fox and The Rob Roys and his appearance with John Goodman on Saturday Night Live and American Bandstand Phil Zezima an original member, returns to contribute his strong vocal abilities . Phil had former associations with Kathy Jean and the Roommates, Aretha Franklin and Gloria Gaynor.

Tommy, Dennis, Warren and Phil have appeared with Rock and Roll mega stars such as: Aretha Franklin, Gloria Gaynor, The Dubs, The Dell-Vikings, Earl Lewis and the Channels, Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge, Willy Winfield and the Harptones, The Solitares, The Classics, The Mystics, The Passions, Buddy Holly's Original Crickets, Joey D and The Starlighters, The Duprees, The Emotions, The Shangri-Las, The Eternals, Dion, Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon, Darlene Love, Ronnie Spector, The Coasters Larry Chance and The Earls Kenny Vance and The Planatones plus a host of others.

The Acchords were the recipients of the 2011 Wildwood New Jersey Music Festival Award as the greatest and most original sounding group artists on the East Coast today for keeping the music of the 50s, 60s and 70s alive. In 2018 their album Best of Times Volume III was the most played album in North Wildwood, (expired link). at Cool Scoops 50's style Ice Cream Parlor whose celebrity guests include Bobby Rydell, Chubby Checker, Frankie Avalon and other top Rock n Roll greats.
