A stormy affair
The A.C.E's Journey Nr. 5 is a dark stormy affair. I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise considering it comes from a CD/EP entitled, 'City of the Dead'. The man himself is one of those multi musical talents and has a large catalogue of work behind him. His passion for making music is clearly evident in this and I was truly gripped by the howling guitar sound that starts the whole thing off and then continues throughout, with only a break for the verse. I personally recommend playing it loud to get the full effect of the guitars.

Really special and new sounding alternative rock music!
I think this song is really something special in the alternative rock genre. The introducing starts of with really fast and cool played drums. This composition characterize unconventional sounds and effects with modular synthiziser creating great space in the backround. The singer with his unique voice brings really a strong feeling into the song. The chorus is impressive and the pitch range varies. By the way in this composition are genuinely well-played guitars bringing the listener on the next level. The rythm varied often and the drummer is playing really powerfull and perfect. That isn´t really easy because of the orchestration with different parts of the instruments, but together is all sounding really professionell and implements a deep feeling into the song. The fantastic played e-guitar especially in the bridge increases the music and is an extra factor, making the arrangement sounding professional. The songtext comes from the heart and touches the soul. The intro feels like a story and the refrain makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. A song above love and life and the development of events beyond personal control. But why do I tell this? This song has definitely a important message. The music is much more creative than some others. Overall a really impressive composition from a very talented musican. I can´t stop listen to this song and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Nice work! Potential hit!!
Like it a lot! In my humble opinion you and simplify the way the words fit with the beat and it will be a hit! Compress your guitar a bit more and add some strings in the chorus and back ground. Just my opinion. But a great structure and intensity!!! I always respect a fellow solo man!!! Lead SA brother!!

Cool song !!!
Enjoyable rock track !!! Not sure if this was mastered ,but doesn't sound like it . Drummer sound good . Guitar is full and covers the spectrum of the song well. Bass could be a little louder in the mix and pull the key board back a touch. Cool track

Ripping Song
I really like the interaction of the solo guitars and keyboards within the track. The tune as a whole is really strong with a good chorus hook to make it lift the song well. The vocal is not present enough. I found myself struggling to make out the words. Part of that is in the way it is sung, with long drawn out words, which lack articulation or transients. It could also use a catchier name.

Its a musical journey
Journey Number 5 by The A.C.E. I dig the musical arrangement and vibe of this song its very easy to listen to and it hooks you quickly from the start. The middle section hits you unexpected when you first listen to it and goes to a weird rhythm from the drums and the guitar but it complements the atmospheric melody of guitar solo really well and it takes you back to the normal rhythmic pace of the song. All in all i give this a 4.6 out of 5.

Nice guitar and voice
This song is pretty straight-forward on the surface. A guitar driven track with a reasonably repetitive groove. That said, I really liked the guitar tone and rawness. I also think that the singer has got a solid singing voice, both things that I think make this track stand out from the rest. While I felt that the drums felt a little bit like "programmed" acoustic at times, when paying close attention, I enjoyed the editing and production that would sneak it's way into an otherwise straight-forward track. There were some cool cuts, and some cool layers that would accent moments, and I thought that added a bit of inventiveness when it might otherwise not have stood out. Interesting artist!

Massive energy!
Energetic, dark, massive and haunting. This is my immediate impression. And then the high feedback guitar strikes my ears. I'm in another word or dimension, and I'm very comfortable here - happy that I pressed the playbutton!

A promising track
Has a nice drum beat and distorted guitar. I like the feel of this track. The synth sounds are cool and add to. The vocals sound nice and the lyrics are cool. I like that although the guitar has a rough sound when it comes in, it all comes together nicely. In my opinion, it may have a few too many pauses where the beat drops. It always comes back strong, but you don't want to lose people in the pauses. That is stylistic though. It drops off a little abruptly. Well made overall!

I really dig this song!
This is a well melancholy track with vibes of Placebo, especially the voice, guitars and arrangement. But I like the straight lines moving through the song along with the guitar/key feedback effects giving this little tune the right atmosphere. Except this middle part in double time patterns disturb me. But that may only be my subjective view due my personal taste and feelings. I really dig this song!

JOURNEY NO 5
THERE IS GREAT TONE TO THE DRUM SOUNDS HERE AND SOME NICE BUILD UP FROM THE START OF THE INTRODUCTION SOME OF THE MUSICAL CHANGES LEND A GOOD AMOUNT OF DIVERSITY FROM THE VERSE CHORUS FORMAT NOT SURE ABOUT THE LENGTH COULD BE SHORTER WITHOUT ANY OVERALL DIFFERENCE THERE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO KEEP THE LISTENER INTERESTED HERE AND FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS CONTRIBUTED TO EVERYTHING IN THE SONG GREAT EFFORT

"Strange Timing"
Your lyrics were very descriptive, imaginative, but not sure what the message or story was about. The thing that struck me right off the bat was some really strange timing at the beginning of the song. Maybe it was me, but something sounded "odd" about the timing. Can't really put my finger on it, but it seemed strange, not conventional may be the correct description. I'm old school, raised on the Beatles, Stones, the Who, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd. Nice guitar break in the middle. Good luck, keep writing and rocking!

This is superb!!
This is very much my thing!! It's such a mixture of great moments reminiscent of Bauhaus and more modern indie rock. Seriously, as a vinyl buyer, if this was released on wax I'd buy it 100% You, sir, have created something special in my eyes and ears!!
