About The B.A.R.S. Crew
The (expired link). Crew (Buried and Resurrected Society)
Hip hop is the soul of many in this world of undying troubles, and that’s why it must prevail. Artists (expired link) and Delshun Mays see this, and, in 2011, the pair decided that they were going to do something about it. They talked and planned on how they would take the watered-down version of hip hop that exists now and revolutionize it. The way they saw it, the music, along with its culture, had been buried and needed resurrection. From this idea, The (expired link). Crew was born.
From the moment of its creation, The (expired link). Crew has had a mission of creating a cultural highway for b-boys, graffiti artists, DJs, and MCs to connect and be affiliated. The Crew is set on pushing all forms of music to the max, resulting in an explosion of the society of music. Their goal is to literally take music out of its tomb and bring it back to be better than ever.
Of course, a genius idea isn’t all that you need to make a group. For a group to prevail, it has to have members. So, with Delshun and (expired link) at the lead, (expired link). at first united six distinct individuals together. Two of these members were Yung Eli and YunGGin from Team Dope. The group of six worked hard to make their vision possible, but only two weeks before the release of their first mixtape, they ran into trouble - four members of the crew were gone. Team Dope had decided to follow their own path that went in a different direction, so Yung Eli and YunGGin were gone. A third member decided to just quit rapping altogether, preferring to do something else. The fourth member was dropped by the team.
Despite odds being against them, (expired link). and Delshun managed to succeed in getting “Wake Up Call,” their first mixtape, out. Impressively, they only used one verse from the former members of (expired link). As it turned out, not only did these two musicians have brilliant ideas and drive, they were talented in the world of hip hop. As a result, the mixtape was well received by their peers in Louisiana.
Since that first rough period, The (expired link). Crew has released more music, including their “Nightmare on (expired link). Street.” With over 48 songs released, they’ve also collaborated with a variety of artists, including Team Dope, Yung T, Black Earl, and others. (expired link). is climbing their way to the top of the music world with their great beats, amazing talent, and undying passion for music.
As part of their growing recognition, The (expired link). Crew has been featured on many radio shows which include, but are not limited to, STU Radio, Beyond the Hype Radio, Watz Hood Radio, Armor Radio, HNS Radio, FSC Loud Radio, Arlene Brown Radio Network, 365 Live Radio, and Franzalicious Music Video N More Show. In addition, Delshun Mays hosts his own online radio show called “Independent,” which (expired link). recently appeared on.
The group has also been featured in the magazines The Underground Fix and Indie Band Guru.
With the support of their loyal fans, the talent of their musicians, and a vision for the future, The (expired link). Crew is making their way through hip hop history, one beat at a time.
