Upon my very first listen to The Diligents - "Angel In Me" (live), I was immediately impressed with their driving energy and attitude. The musicianship is of a very high caliber, very spirited players with a great "feel" for the music.While you can hear the influence of certain bands in their approach to the music, they simultaneously have achieved a sound that is uniquely theirs. Highly recommended!

I like the feel of the song. The drums are done well, The guitar solo in the middle works. The bass is nice and consistent on every change. The energy sounds like a good energy band worth seeing . Nice work

The music had great sounds and tones that really grabbed my attention. Songwriting and vocals were on point and brought as much to the song as the music did. The recording was a little rough, but live recordings can be tough for anyone. I bet these guys are a blast to see live. The drums were steady and strong, the bass was working and kicking and the guitar and vocals were right where they needed to be. There's a lot of talent in this 3 piece group, I would love to hear what they can do in the studio too.

This song sounds good considering it is live. I like the busy bass player which helps in a 3 piece band, you got to fill stuff up. Good solid drummer holding it together and the guitar mixes in well. I wish the words were a little clearer but being live that's understandable. The tune sounds good also. keep up the good work.

Nice tunes! This a genuine rock song, I like this style , I grew up with rock n' roll , nad these guys rock!!! the only flaw of this version of the song is the live recording which is not the best. I think a studio version allows you to appreciate it better. Still a good job indeed!

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song with a live recording - first - I am NOT fan of live recordings unless you've got the big money behind you to make it sound decent. This doesn't. However, I love live music and can easily picture myself in the local bar on Friday night with friends, a few drinks and listening to the house band knock back their greatest hits. Musically and vocally, this is really nice. I'd like to hear this from "just" a studio recording. I can only imagine you knock the socks off!

Sounds good too, a lot of attitude. Wish the bass was hotter in the mix. It would make a lot of difference, but I really like the groove, and at least the band sounds like they're having a good time, which is a big thing for anyone to find enjoyment. Yeah, it sounds like there's a good crowd, amd eveyone's having a good time. Great song, good work. Keep rocking.

All in all, I like the song but submitting it in for a review as a live 'club environment' version is not the best way for the listener to get a good idea of the song. I would suggest taking it in and actually recording it properly or at least having it mixed to tape at the gig. That way it will have a better separation of the instruments and you won't have someones girlfriend screaming over the song. If you are looking for a review on your performance, send a video of it. But keep the live at home and give us something we can really listen to and appreciate not only the lyrics but the music track as well. You have talent, you just need to relay it properly for review.
