The Elpis Paradox

I have decided to Part ways with The Akademia Awards Ceremony. I really enjoyed being in the Spotlight. We won 5 out of 5 monthly music awards through them. If you going to stay on top and be the best you have to live life like your on Top Gun. There are no points for second Place. As a submariner I am bound to my duty of the Core Values of the Navy... Honor Courage and Commitment. The price of pain there is no time to complain. If you want to be the best you have to lead by example. We all make mistakes and we all get fubared every now and again. I have had 5 midlife crisis trying to get through the Pain of my childhood. Son of an Army brat at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I used to be so pissed off at my dad because he could never make rank. I got out of the Navy when the going got too tough for me. My grandfather just passed and he Was a Screaming Eagle just Like Jimi Hendrix. He was a Lion he taught me everything. That's what Leos are for. I am a middle child the 3rd of 4. We are the glue that holds the Family together through thick and thin. It really does hurt when you get no respect from anyone. I have decided since I am a retired disabled vet I make enough money to just record songs at home instead of going into the studio. The lessons you learn as a child get you through your life. Its when puberty hits you lose your mind because now women want you and have to discern what woman is right for you in your life. I can't keep a gf for more than 6 months. They just get tired of me because I don't spend more money on them. Its a West Coast thing... High Dollar High Fame. If I just had a bunch of rubber bullets I could kill the Pain. The answers to life's questions are a riddle as old as time. If you can't find what your looking for, maybe you need to stop and have a cup of coffee and take a week off. I am what I do. Just a workaholic and nothing to do. It really sucks I have about 10 albums worth of material written down. I have been slugging out playing the Guitar Since 2001. I thought if I bought a guitar and learned how to play I could find a gf. Its not that simple if you want a gf go to the Playboy Mansion. If you want a wife you give her control. If your not willing to go to hell and back for a Woman, you have no sense talking to her. I wish I could Fly with Maverick and Goose and Tell them I got your Back I am a submariner if you need me to give you dolphins just tell send a signal. The only real men in the Navy are Fighter Pilots and Submariners. GroundPounders can't make it on subs. Seen it all the time. If you lazy god don't want you. Life is Simple your either qualified or not. Just cause your qualified doesn't mean you work. The older I get the mental struggles become more and more discerning. If you make it Past 40 your just an adolescence. That's when life throws your a curve ball. Do you want to keep on being who you are or do you want to grow up. I want a wife in my life. I am tired of chasing the same gfs of my Past. If you can't forgive a woman you have no reason to talk to her. MT/2 SS signing out.

We won another monthly music award through The Akademia Music Awards. I want to thank everyone for sharing and listening to music. If there was no momentum, nothing would ever change. We won for the song Breathe Me In. They have now spotlighted us and invited us to next years awards.

We have a new format for our next album 12 days of Charlotte: The Goddess of Love. Jerry is on Hiatus from the band. He is in another band Altus. The format is going to be Karlin as Bassist and Rhythm Guitar, and Nate as Keys, Drums, and Lead guitar. We are working on new single Sex Eyes soon to be recorded and ready for release. When it is done being mastered I will have it up for download and streaming. It was inspired by my new friend Chelsea Bounce. You should google her ;)

I just started up the label I started in 2006 on November7th. Its up for sale finally. I found the right platform that can support the artist and provide a great platform for anyone interested in new music. There is nothing wrong with the music industry it just goes in cycles. That last every 30 years.

I hope everyone has had a safe holiday season. I am working on the upcoming album The Journey Beneath. It looks like it might be a double album. I have 21 songs so far. I want to write at least another 9 to 12 songs. I am really excited to have inspiration to write. It is going to be an Americana album. It comes from my experience as a blue collar worker. I am writing songs the represent America. The first half of the album is going to be the Americana songs. The second part of the album is going be about songs that I experienced onboard a submarine. I am hoping to wrap up the album by the end of the year 2021. Its going to be challenging to do a double album. I feel if I don't push myself, nothing will get accomplished. I hope everyone has a great New Years.

I just finished up recording Pie in the Sky this morning. It is going to be the first single off of the upcoming album The Journey Beneath. I haven't recorded anything in about 2 years. Pat Kearns will be producing the album. I have been working with him for about 7 years now. In fact its been 7 years ago that we went into his studio in Sandy Blvd Portland, OR. It was really fun going in the studio as a band. It was called Perma Press recording studio at the time. He moved down to California soon after he started his solo career. He started Blue Skies for Black Hearts in the late 90s. I would definitely check out some of his music on Youtube if you interested in really intellectual music with pure honesty. I can't wait to start on the other 11 songs within the coming weeks. The album is sub inspired from the time when I served active duty in the US Navy. I qualified submarines on the USS Nebraska in 1 patrol. I was then stationed on the USS Rhode Island for 2 more years. Good luck everyone have a good day and weekend.

I have had writers block for the last couple of years. Its not that you can't write but your life kinda falls apart. I have decided to write a new Album Title... The Journey Beneath. The first song is going to be done in the next month or so. The title is going to be Pie In the Sky. I think that people need some assurance that everything is going to be ok. All you can do sometimes is wake up and thank you have a new day.
