I just finished up recording Pie in the Sky this morning. It is going to be the first single off of the upcoming album The Journey Beneath. I haven't recorded anything in about 2 years. Pat Kearns will be producing the album. I have been working with him for about 7 years now. In fact its been 7 years ago that we went into his studio in Sandy Blvd Portland, OR. It was really fun going in the studio as a band. It was called Perma Press recording studio at the time. He moved down to California soon after he started his solo career. He started Blue Skies for Black Hearts in the late 90s. I would definitely check out some of his music on Youtube if you interested in really intellectual music with pure honesty. I can't wait to start on the other 11 songs within the coming weeks. The album is sub inspired from the time when I served active duty in the US Navy. I qualified submarines on the USS Nebraska in 1 patrol. I was then stationed on the USS Rhode Island for 2 more years. Good luck everyone have a good day and weekend.
