About theeuromutts
Just another nut that fell out of the tree.
Long Way Home is a song I wrote and recorded many moons ago... I played the bass, 3 of the 4 guitar tracks (rhythm and sweet sultry lead parts and Bucket (Steve) Milam played the drum track... My friend Morris Taylor wrote these lyrics and he drove from Denton Texas to Walnut Bend TX in early 2008, to do his part in the recording of the PSYCHO-delicic leads and he sang the vocals. He has it listed on his N1M account at this time with my blessing with shared credit ... GO BUY IT on his page!

The Next 2 songs are a band I formed in 2008, we called it The Alternate Energy Band and NO the name has nothing to do with all this Wind, Solar yada Green Energy CRAP!... It is about the Mysterious Creative Energy of Our Universe as it relates to Creativity! Tom J wrote these songs and myself, Dave O, John F and Greg G (all from North Texas) played and sang and had a blast!
In short... ,
EUROMUTTS collection is just a bunch of stuff me and some friends from all over Florida, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas did many moons ago far far away in North Texas! I now live in North FLORIDA!
(Most of) The stuff on my music list was recorded at my own studio in Gainesville Texas... now defunct, but that stuff may give ya some idea of what I MAY be capable of... going forward.
There's everything from prog rockish stuff, to acoustic guitar, bluesy-ish, folksy, Celtic-ish, New Country Rock, New Age-ish, even some sort of mushed and mangled up Euro Trash Goth sounding stuff... Along with random noodlings with a recorder turned on.
I don't like RUTS... and I have played boat loads of covers of all genres... but I like coming up with original music.
The resume: Johnny Mutt:
I started playing guitar in 1966, picked up bass along the way (out of necessity), dabble with keyboards, and occasionally croak out some vocals. I do a little composing. Probably have been in and out of 40 bands (of various genres) over the years. Some were all original bands, some cover bands.
