Based in central Indiana, The Fabulous Huckleberries blending diverse pop elements of the past four decades, Huck has created a texture that is uniquely midwestern with a pinch of London's West End. Intelligent, contemporary rock and roll, tinged with influences as varied as The Beatles to Billy Joel and many points in between, the Hucks have a distinct personality all their own. The music is a blend of pop, country rock, classic rock and the occasional touch of the absurd. With melodious arragements, well crafted chord progressions and infectious rhythms, the Hucks will surprise and entertain you.

Formed by Tim Spainhower and Mike “DrLunk” Head in 2000 as a studio project band, the duo completed seven project albums of 78 original compositions, mostly penned by Tim, and available online as the “Official Underground Anthology”. In 2005, deep into the recording of the eighth project, the decision was made to evolve Huck into a full performance band. Tim recruited Jim Della Rocco (drums) and John Allen(lead guitar), with whom he had worked with in cover bands and various other recording projects.

Recorded at DrLunk’s Wretched Nit’s Studio and Jim’s
Toyland Studio, Heart of Stone was released in January
2006 as Huck’s debut CD. With strong vocals, rhythm
guitar and keyboards by Tim, diverse percussion by Jim, snaky blues/jazz leads by Jim and the occasional caliope
