The track is cool, the rhymes are pretty standard. Cali feel of hip hop with a bit of a drab overtone. It could use a few breaks or something to hype it up, good work over all. I wouldn't mind hearing more to see if they have better songs

Got that 9th wonder, lil brother feel. The swag on here is nuts. I can ride to this my dude. Once beat came on I was hook, that's when you know it's a problem. The lyrics and subject matter is on point and the hook is money. You should get mad plays on this. Nice joint, keep grinding my dudes!!

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I heard this track. It is nice to hear real good vibe, introspective music in these lost days. The beat automatically took me to better times in Hip-Hop, when you could feel an artists truth and soul within the sonic sounds of the track itself, something more than just another head bobbin' beat. The flow and lyrical styles were also on point and fit the production very nicely. This track could of been a 5Star, if not for the lack in overall track quality (which sometimes cannot be helped depending on finances and ect). I would love to hear this song redone in a higher quality atmosphere. Either way, the track still shines while showing that Hip-Hop is NOT dead!

i was feeling this joint.. the lyrics were on beat and smooth... nice laid back track with a old school 90s vibe.. i would only suggest stepping up the quality... seems like the vocals could have been a little more clear.. other than that this is a overall decent track.. something created with vision

Can't say this enough. In my opinion there is good hip hop w/ sensible rhyme and flow out there and there is the crap that plagues the airwaves and TV screens with more regularity everyday. It is really cool to click on a random song, on a random free online site like this one and have this song pour out of the speakers. Straight, simple beat, great flow with soul, believable character and lyrical content that means something. I know that there are still artist out there like Brand Nubians. Tribe called Quest(RIP Phife Dawg) and NAS, ect… But they are not where they should be, in the forefront of hip hop. To me, this "Early Rise" is good Hip Hop.

I rated it 3.5 because at the beginning the sound quality sounds like it was having problems. I am not really into Rap, so I am probably not a good judge. Also, I really don't like swear words in songs. I just think it is one of those things that can be presented without using them. I think it takes away from the message your trying to present. Other than that it has a nice beat & vocals were good.
