4-Piece Ska/Rock Band From San Jose CA. With The Unique sounds influenced by The Suicide machines, The Phenomenauts, And Reel Big Fish. We Give Ska A Twist with Rock & Roll The Hillpeople Are a band consists of only 4 members, Frontman Gordon Keller on Lead Guitar & Lead Vocals, Older Sibling Duncan Keller On The Drums/Percussion, Arthur Brandao on Bass and Backing Vocals, And Zax Avila (ex-Poor AJ) On Backing Guitar and Backing Vocals. The Hillpeople scrambled through quite a few names until we finally found one that stuck with Us. We Started off as a Garage band Trio, And Later Added Guitarist William Kuo. One Of the greatest guitarist I've met around this area. But due to a lot Of complications, he was dropped late in 2008 and Zax replaced him for quite sometime, But Then He came back, then left again, So Zax has been his Permanent replacement. Whether its playing Birthday parties Right down The Street, Or Rockin The Shack behind Los Gatos High School, We Vow To always bring The Best crowd we can bring to any show. And We know We can always Get the Crowd into it and Have a Good Time Doing it.
