Knowledge can get you power but character will get you respect! Preparation for tomorrow is the hard work today! I go by the name of "The Homie Cell". I was born 1980 in Santa Paula but raised in Fillmore, California! I was raised by my Mom. My Dad left when I was 6, so I pretty much had to learn things on my own! I got 2 older brothers the oldest is DJ Sweet P! I learned how to DJ by watching him, he's been doing it for about 25 years now and is still going strong. Ever since I was a kid I loved music and would always listen to Old School R&B when my Mom would clean. I would memorize lyrics and sing along to the songs. As a teen I got introduced to Hip Hop, Breakdancing and Graffiti! I started teaching myself to freestyle around 14 years old and been doing it ever since here and there. I have never recorded or been in a professional studio but hope to one day! I got my BA in Graphic Design and DJ parties on the side sometimes. I'm just a straight up Hustler always on the Grind! I wouldn't say that I am similar to any other artist cause I'm not trying to be like anyone else! I just do my thing and keep it real, stay humble and never forget where I came from!
