Supercharged trio from Northampton UK. Influenced by Pixies/Nirvana and Husker DU. Who pull you in every step of their journey!! Northampton trio The Idiot Boy are Anthony Jewell, James Neville and Owen Mclean-Kerr.

Formed in early 2003 they have played such legendary stages as, The Jericho (Oxford), The Fleece (Bristol), Hope and Anchor (Islington) and The Roadmender (Northampton), amongst many others. They have also added several high profile motorsport events including the British Grand Prix (Jordan Party Village) and boast to have the first and possibly only mosh pit at a Formula 1 event.

The Idiot Boy also enjoys airplay on local radio and has held the number one slot three times in BBC Radio Northampton weekender chart (voted by the stations listeners).

Influences come from a wide range of bands including Pixies, Nirvana and Green Day, without sounding like any of them. This shows though on their recent self released album “SIXES” available from the above website.
