About The Joke

he Joke plays since 2008, from an old and dusty garage on the outskirts of Girona, Catalonia.
During 2009’s fall, we recorded, self-produced and self-edited our first demoCD with 8 own songs: ‘The Worst Joke Ever Told‘.
In March 2012 it was released the EP called “Shots of Stark Reality“, and the single 'Eye of the Hurricane' was released in 2013; also included in the “Salt The Musics X” compilation.

Since then, the band has played hundreds of shows, composed and launched many own songs which haven’t been recorded yet.
In 2018 it was decided to reborn The Joke, adapting songs and preparing a new burst: the album called DELAYED, released in 2023.

Nowadays The Joke is about to sefl-record and release a lot of songs, reinforcing the presence on social networks and streaming platforms, to hit the road and stages again.
