The KARDs
The precision and power of pop, paired with the energy and inspired chaos of rock 'n roll. A musical dilemma that plays out in The KARDs repertoire.
Music from the land of 1000 dances. The twist, the swim, the mashed potato, the frug, the hitch-hike, the Loco-motion, the shimmy, the watusi, the batusi, etc. If you can't dance to this music, you can't dance.
No matter what your taste in music, you will find it used as a spice in the stew of 60s hits. The country music inspired harmonies of the Beatles or Everly Brothers, the primal precision, energy, and attitude of rock n' roll in the music of The Kinks or The Rolling Stones. The rockabilly hoot and holler of Larry Williams, Johnny Rivers, or Carl Perkins. The sophistication and emotional persistence of ballads in the music of Gerry and the Pacemakers, and Herman's Hermits. The Latin tinged swing of the Beau Brummels, to the surf inspired instrumentals of The Ventues or The Shadows. It's all in the mix.

Hope you are all well and beginning to return to pre pandemic life. It has been a hard time for all of us. We have played a few gigs, but the return to normal is happening very slowly. Here's an original tune I created while in isolation. Hope you enjoy it. Peace and Love.

Hope you are all safe and well. Please check out our original tune, "Peach Taco". The title was inspired by a fellow musician who commented "It sounds like the Allman Brothers doing Santana. So, eat a peach with a Mexican flavour.

Hello KARDigans,
Thank you all for your interest and support.
We're not quite dead yet. We are busy making plans to record another CD. The studio is ready to go, we just have to figure out the schedule.
Unfortunately, most of our live gigs are private parties, and we would like to be more available to the general public. Any suggestions or referrals for live performances would be appreciated. And as always, share The KARDs with your friends.

Just for the record, The KARD’s were there - ears to their transistor radios - soaking up the sounds of the Beatles, the Kinks, the Lovin’ Spoonful and many other bands of the day.
In fact, The KARDs had a dream…
They wanted to play those songs and to dazzle those audiences brimming with star-struck, go-go booted fashion models.
Problem was--- the KARDs were 11 and it was a school night.
The dream would have to wait ‘til the boys were older and the curfews were later.
That time is now!
So let Kevin, Arie, Rod & Doug take you back to the ‘60’s with great hits from both sides of the Pond.
Call your friends, put out the cat, then come have a great time finding memories you thought you’d lost.
