About The Lonesome Souls

for those who don't know our story .... The story started on the BandLab app in the spring of 2017 when we (Doug Cowan, Brian Emerton, Geoff Jaymes, and Matt Mooney) came together and formed the band after collaborating on a few tracks. Something bigger than ourselves began to take shape, once realized, we had to take the next step and begin to market our works to the masses.​

We selflessly strive to give our potential audience every bit of that magic that's created in the original recordings in a raw form, as well as push the underlying themes and messages of importance in our lyrics. Im blessed to be a part of this, truly a group of humble artists who continuously develop a gameplan and execute.

The last three releases (Wild Child, Sound in the Hills, and Kindred Souls) are now available on iTunes and Amazon, we are now on iHeartRadio, Spotify, as well as Pandora, among others. We'd like to thank all of our friends, fans, and ESPECIALLY our families for your support in our recent endeavors!

The band has received recognition in the early going for the songs One of These Days and Rock of Ages... They are now being streamed to nearly 50,000 subscribers of Matt Rix's Radio Soho. If either of these two songs receive 400,000 streams by fall of 2018, the band goes to Las Vegas! We want to thank Matt Rix and all that he does for musicians abroad!

Hard work. Every one of our members puts in hard work, as well as in our personal lives. We believe that hard work pays off. We all have a blast doing what we do, and we hardly consider it work pushing 3 albums in 3 months! We like it. We love it. We want some more of it!

A common bond. Not only have we built a band, we have grown exponentially close in the short amount of time that we have been working together. There is a certain unsaid understanding and a growing bond that continues to drive the music. I for one can say that I'm happy to have met these guys, they're my soul brothers, and they continue to exceed my expectations as musicians, and most importantly friends.

Goals. What this band has accomplished in such a short period of time and without meeting in person, would make people in the business scratch their heads. Thankfully we have BandLab and Google Drive! Our goal was and always will be to collectively tell our stories. Life is short, and what we do here and now is a record that can be passed down one day. A message can be a powerful thing! I think we do a great job of this and Im proud to say that we've only just begun. The skys the limit!
