Originally hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, the band evolved from the Steel City’s first horror-punk outfit, The Brain Invaders, and now call Oakland, CA, their home.
These guys have fired up the stage with The Misfits, Tiger Army, The Murder Junkies, The Quakes, The Guana Batz, The Queers, The Dickies and just about every legendary psychobilly band there is. The group completely embodies the rock ‘n’ roll that gave birth to every punk, rockabilly, and psychobilly band out there and do it without regrets or fear of what “the scene” might think.
With their first two albums, “Bloody Knuckles and Broken Hearts” and “Kill Punk Rock” well received and in near constant reprints, their newest release, “Tennessee Jade” is getting great feedback after it’s recent release. Touring the country back and forth between coasts and anywhere inbetween, this band continues to impress, astound and recruit new believers after every dynamic performance.
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, The Memphis Murder Men are putting the nail in the coffin of bad rock ‘n’ roll and cranking out loud and proud rock n roll the way the greats did.
