Every artist we've ever listened to.
Great music is great music no matter which generation owns it as theirs.
Music is your inheritance and our inheritance to treasure.
We then are all heirs of music that makes us all unimaginably wealthy.
Greetings to all of you as we speed through the rest of what's left of 2024. I hope it's been a good year and certainly it's been one to remember. Again we have 2 new songs for you. The first, "Thoughtless" , taps in on someone's point of view. Sometimes to others, we may seem to be a person who doesn't care about anyone else because they perceive that we don't pay attention. However this song is form the perspective of that person, not that he doesn't care, but instead he is so intrigued and focused on all the wonderful things around him that it appears that he is a thoughtless person. So many times perceptions are misunderstood. Next is, "Follow Your Dreams". It's so important as we go through life that we don't abandon our dreams. So many times life get's in the way. However if we set reasonable goals as stepping stones to reaching those dreams and we are patient, they usually can be accomplished. Just a word of caution though. If your dreams are selfish and it is your desire to attain the prize at any cost, you may reach those dreams and be all alone with no one to share them with. Well it's our dream that we have given you a couple of songs that you will enjoy listening to and that we will have more for you next month. Stay safe and we will see you in December.
Read moreAnother month as "Time" keeps marching on. The first song this month is "Desiree". Just a fun song about infatuation with no one in particular in mind. (Apologies to anyone by that name. We had to name this song something and we already have a song named "Infatuation" that we just haven't finalized yet and Desiree is a lovely name). The second song is, "On My Way Down". This one is a little bit darker about Depression. It seems to be the new Pandemic that no one wants to talk about. For those who suffer from it, our hearts go out to you. Don't give up. There is help.
Even though the subject matter of these songs is a little out of the ordinary, we hope you enjoy them. See you next month.
As the sun fades into the Fall months a sense of sadness starts to creep into our daily lives. But don't be overwhelmed. The summer will return as it always has. Anyway, enough of that. We have 2 new songs for this month. The first song is "I'm Sorry" a phrase that we often neglect to say when needed most. We've all had many opportunities to say these words but so often it comes with the word "However" which should never be included in a sincere apology. Probably something we will all continue to have to work on. Next is "Playing With Fire". Too often what seems like playful flirting can turn into something with a mind and power of it's own and we end up with unwanted consequences. We hope you enjoy listening to these songs and can find joy in the days ahead. See you next month.
Read moreIt's the last full month of summer here in the Northern hemisphere and it's been a crazy one in so many ways. We certainly hope that you are all at least surviving but hopefully thriving, so we've added 2 new songs that will hopefully give you a little distraction from whatever is going on in your life. Our first song is "I'm Letting Go". We all at times hold on to unnecessary things in our lives, or barriers that seem to appear that hold us back from moving forward mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This song is abut realizing that you can just let go of those things and move on. We cant change the past but we can clear the way for a better future. Second we have, "Upside Down". This song is about some of those unforeseen events that seem to confront us no matter how hard we try. Again, we hope that all of you are doing well and can be "Letting Go" of things that are holding you back so you don't end being "Upside Down"! Have a great month and we'll see you in September.
Read moreNew Month, New Music. 2 new songs for you coming from two different directions. Our first song is "Jessie's House". Steve was just pickin' and a grinnin' on his guitar one day at Jessie's house and a simple guitar line turned into this instrumental. Who knows how a musicians mind works, but it can make for an enjoyable way to pass the time. 'She Ran Away To Wonderland" takes us back to our Pop, Rock roots. A fun song about a sad situation. But it does have a good outcome, and you can dance to it! We sincerely appreciate you support and hope you all have a safe month with pleasant weather. We'll see you next time.
Read moreSummer is here in the Northern Hemisphere so let the fun begin! Although the 2 songs for this month probably won't be the subject of summer delight, we hope that you enjoy them just the same. The first song is "Broken Hearts". So many problems that bring sorrow to people who just want to live peaceful and happy lives. We certainly hope that you all will be able to endure whatever you have to deal with, and can have the peace that comes from having a solid hope for a beautiful future. The next song is "Invisible". This one can work both ways. Sometimes we feel like nobody cares and no one sees us. Or sometimes we want to be invisible so that no one can hurt us. Whatever the way you feel know that you are loved and cared for. Don't give up. The old saying, "It's always darkest before the dawn" is true. Relief is just around the corner. So now that we have this out of our system we hope you have a wonderful Month and we'll see you in July..
Read moreAnother month rolls around and we're ready with 2 new songs. "Today" is about the gift of life that was given to all of us, both physically and spiritually. Let's make the best use of it by helping others to appreciate that gift too. Next is "Why I'm Blue" . If we've ever been in a relationship , we know it has it's up's and down's.. This song is about one of those Low times and how we feel when it doesn't seem like we could ever do things right. Music is a wonderful gift and being able to share some of it with you is a true blessing. Have a wonderful May and we'll see you in June.
Read moreHere we are, back again with 3 new songs. Working in the sound lab brings us so much joy and we hope you get a little of that too as you listen to this months selections. First is "Afraid To Look Down". Whether it's taken literally as a story about a rock climber, or metaphorically as someone in a tough situation, is up to you. Either way we hope it excites you auditory system. Next is "When We Were Young". Think back, was it that long ago? Whether we're physically young or just young at heart, wouldn't it be nice to have the wisdom of being older with the energy of youth. Finally we have, "Life Is So Good". This is a light hearted self examination by someone who thinks highly of themselves and then realizes they may have over estimated their abilities. Well, back into the lab to prepare the next batch of goodies. See you next month
Read moreTo start, we hope you had a great extra day (Feb 29th) this year. Now we are three months into 2024 and we're still here. Congratulations! Since that's the case we thought we might as well post 3 more songs. The first is "Call Don't Fall". This song is what results when a musician get's an MRI and the mind drifts into music as the beat of the machine droan's on. If you have ever had an MRI you will probably recognize that link you listen to the intro. Next is "Across The Sky". I hope that you have had the opportunity to get away from the city lights at night and to be amazed by the unbelievable beauty of the Universe around us. To see a comet or a shooting star as the moves "across the sky" is what inspired this song. Last but certainly not least is "I Coulda Danced With Peggy". We have all had those times when we look back on a missed opportunity with regret and wish that we would have taken action but instead we let it pass us by. Hopefully You got a second chance and, this time
made the right decision. We hope you have a good month and enjoy listening to these songs. See you in April.
The big question is... What will you do with the extra day this month? Since it's a Leap year we all get a day added to our lives. Will you take advantage of it to do something that benefits others, take time just to relax, or something else? Whatever you decide be thankful that we are alive to enjoy it. I have a suggestion. If you decide to take a few minutes to relax,. we hope you will listen to the 3 new songs we uploaded. The first "Harmony" is all about seeking to bring unity to all mankind. Wouldn't that be nice! Next is "Out Of Focus". Have you ever had one of those times where everything just seems fuzzy and out of sync? If so you will be able to relate to this one. The last song, "Across the Sky" is an instrumental that jus came out of nowhere, but it might just smooth out the day. We hope you have a good month and we hope you spend your extra day wisely
Read moreThis Month is escape month. Sometimes we just want to get away from all the constant noise of this world. That's what our first two songs are about. "Flying" and "Dream Machine" are both about escaping the situations we find ourselves in at present and we just have to wait until things get better. (Hold on, they will). The last song, "Why Does She Love Him" is about a situation that I hope everyone feels at one time or another about the person we love, that we've been blessed with someone who loves us despite all our faults. We hope you enjoy them and hope to have you with us next month. Take care and be thankful for what ever fills your life with Joy.
Read moreGreetings to all. First we want to thank all of you for all the kind and supportive comments that you have sent us over the past year. Although we rarely respond we do really appreciate your interest. We have 2 more to finish out the year. First, "Nearly Someday" is about a beautiful world that may seem, at times, to be impossible, but it's just around the corner. Next is "Pray For Me". This one is about trying to keep a positive outlook on life. Sometimes no matter how hard we try we just might need a little help from others. We hope you will enjoy both of them and we'll keep working on new songs with a lot of verity to send your way next year. Be safe and we'll see you in January.
