His storytelling ability and versatile style, with a range of topics, makes The NSM a unique artist to burst onto the music scene.

Ever since attending the Old School Throw Down at a young age, to see artist such as Africa Bambata, KRS ONE, Rakim and Run DMC, The AM felt the power of hip hop and dreamed of being one of its influential contributors. He has recorded with numerous artist and producers throughout the years, all which shaped his style and approach to his craft. It wasn't until major changes in his life (including fatherhood) that The NSM became fully determined to make his dream a reality.

The NSM is a conversational rapper with the approach of invoking emotions, debate and a sense of "making it" in your own way. His first real full length album "The Life Concept Album/One Day in the life" with producer Vic Royal captures an average person's daily struggle with money, work ("The Journey"), and other socio-economic issues ("The BS"). At the same time he also weaves in topics about relationships ("The Love") being a father and anthem like songs ("Born2winit") to motivate, relate and inspire the audience. Major influences include Lupe Fiasco, NAS and The Roots.
