Nice production which features the vocals ...as it should because this guy can sing. lots of tracks on NM1 bury the vocals because they are not strong enough to carry the track. the mix of the guitars and keys work to move the track forward nicely. I would be remiss if I didn't say how much I liked the backing vocals. I'm sorry I didn't review this track sooner as I sometime get off of this site for awhile. I will check out the rest of your song because I think you have something to offer. The lyrical content and style of the song work for me as this is the type of stuff I play and write. good luck in your future endeavors.

In a world where love is no longer in fashion & even relationships have been watered down to a few empty texted words, The Olson Brothers made me feel like I was alive in the sixties, when fame & praise was reserved for those with actual talent, & chart toppers were actual future classics. Substance has always mattered to me, even while the music business is being forced into the era of fad, & music based on having 5 seconds of TikTok success. Though taken back by the overall vibe, I find it refreshing to hear harmonies, production planning & a story that matters; because these lyrics are actually worth listening & deserve to be sung by the millions for years to come—even if charts are more of a spin, spit & forget dynamic nowadays. Our love life has made each & everyone of us feel like happiness is so far away, our years in planet Earth won't be enough to catch a glimpse of it, so, if you like me are one to like retro countryside bar scenes where a band plays while two fall for each other in vintage scenery, then 'Love Life' is for you. If you're all for season finale moments then 'Love Life' is for you! &, btw, I can't wait to see this song synced to a show's season finally—stare at The Olson Brothers like "look for it." As a life-long fan of Van Morrison & Rodriguez, I can tell you, this one is one for the ages. You can fall in love to it or make a grand gesture to it, regardless of your age. Because that's what timeless music does, it allows everyone to find a place within' it!

I like this song a lot. Very original sound which is a plus for a continuous career.This track has a great potential to go big somewhere on multiple platforms. Keep up the good work guys you sound great.

Overall, i think the form of the song itself is well done. The verses, the chorus, and the guitar solos are clearly defined. I like the tone and the approach of the singer. I have a few suggestions though. Overall, the keys and the guitar parts are under-produced. There should be a lot more happening in their performance in the verse and in the chorus. The guitar solos add a nice flavor to the song when they happen. Also, the background vocals do very little to enhance the song. I think the background vocals would better support the lead vocalist by either harmonizing what the lead vocalist is singing or by responding to what the lead singer is singing or perhaps a little of both. I think the song is really good but needs to take more "risks" musically.

The track made room for a great story.......Nothing like a song that's like true to life for many. . Many songs are about the music..........this one is about the story. A little sax in the mid of the story would be great.....overall good stuff. it could be number one

I like the phrasing and the melody. It's definitely a love song. Way to go! So many love songs have been written and there is much material to draw from but personal heartbreak is the best songwriting formula. Stay with it.

I like the electric guitar in this song. There is a realistic story told, which people need to hear more of. The background singers compliment the song very well. The solo guitar in the bridge fits in perfectly too. The use of imagery is impressive and I look forward to hearing more from The Olson Brothers Band.

I LIKE IT! IT REMINDS ME OF THE JOHN MAYHALL AND PAUL BUTTERFIELD WHITE BLUES OF THE 60'S AND EARLY 70'S. A LITTLE MORE R&B VINTAGE POP THAN 145 BLUES. THE ENDING CULD HAVE BEEN STRONGER BUT I ENJOYED AND RESPECTED THE SINGER AND THE BAND. GOOD WORK!

I noticed how you catagorized this before i started the critique. I wasn't sure which style this fit at first ( not a bad thing ) , but it struck me s "southern rock", possibly R&B. Great feel to the song, love the use of piano , and organ. My only "criticism ( if you can call it that ..LOL ) is I would have liked to have more guitars upfront ( ala the allman's ...one of my fav bands ). The chord progression is really nice , sounds a little familiar. Which is a very good thing as far as commerciality goes. I would have liked a little better quality production ,one hint is seperate the instruments more in the mix, for a more three dimensional sound. The vocals are right on time , and very well suited to this style. Great melody . Now think about this , with different vocalists , and slight adjustments in rhythmic feel you could have hits in a couple different genres , along with your own version of course. This could not only be hit , but one that transends "genre".... Great job , would love to hear more from you guys.

What a great start to a great tune the guitars do some talking and harmony comes through just right! I though atvfirstvitvwas a Jim Crocie tune cover but it went a different direction ! This is a class tune and the vocials fit the song pjerfect! Don’t be afraid to tune in and enjoy a really nice tune,I would be surprised if it doesn’t climb right up the charts, Inhave a lot of different genre songs on n1m .but not in straight rock but have always liked the old rock and this tune reminds me of the 60s and 70s !
