The Petulant is a new danish thrash metal band from Copenhagen. Formed in 2013 by the brothers Lukas and Kraen Meier, both from the old danish band Sacrificial. After the inital rehearsals Asbjørn Steffensen from Crocell and Mordax on vocals, together with Mads Bertam, also from Mordax on guitar.

Update from the studio session that we just finished:
We´ve recorded 10 new songs that we will unleash sometime in the spring next year. We will keep you updated on the progress, and of course let you hear some of the new material as soon as we get the final mix.

The Petulant is a new danish thrash metal band from Copenhagen. Formed in 2013 by the brothers Lukas and Kraen Meier, both from the old danish band Sacrificial. After the inital rehearsals Asbjørn Steffensen from Crocell and Mordax on vocals, together with Mads Bertam, also from Mordax on guitar.
In march 2014 the band recorded 4 songs at the danish recording studio Fastbeat. These songs repressent the beginning of a band inspired by the bay area thrash scene of the eighties and nineties, but who also trie to bring a breath of fresh air to the music. The band wants to play thrash metal, but it does not want to be confined in the creative proces of writing songs. So you might say that the style of The Petulant is a work in progess. While preparing for shows the band is also writing new material for future releases, it´ll be fast and heavy, no compromise!
The band had their debut gig supporting Missery Index at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on the 27th of July 2014, and is as of now ready to take the stage anytime,anywhere!
The band is in the final stages of recording 10 songs for a debut album that schooled see the light of day early 2017
