today i uploaded a new song: 'The Mark of Revelation 13'. It is not very cheerful, so I hope you can endure its more than 6 minutes of length. I was asking myself if human RF-ID implants could be the mark of the beast ? If so, we live in Biblical end times.
This song weeps about humanity and it's fate. I got the musical idea when watching a video named 'we live in end times' on YouTube. I didn't like the video at all, but I loved the instrumental music accompanying it. Unfortunately I couldn't find out what music it was nor who made it. Therefore I wrote this songs. Same chords, my own view on end times and a 100% Plastic Brides.

How it started out in 2008. How much I like good songs. The lifelong quest for the ideal song. My tense relationship with my own vocals. And so on. Let me know if you have any questions!

My name is Ger Dik. I am from The Hague, Holland. 'The Plasic Brides' is my home-recording project. I have always played in bands and I still do. 'The Plastic Brides' project represents a number of songs that didn't work for these bands, but which I loved too much to just let go.
So in 2007 I bought a dedicated music PC and all the other gear and I started recording. Most instruments are virtual/fake/plastic, hence the name.
My musical style is definitely 1980s New Wave, which is consistent with my 'vintage', and the majority of the lyrics are about my Christian faith. As it turns out, most of the postmodern new-wave population think it's too Christian, and many Christians think it's too postmodern. But hey, that's me!
In 2010 'The Plastic Brides' made an EP called 'Ballrooms, Wine and Crystal Lights'. Since then three more songs followed.
