Review of Welcom to Abomination
I find it refreshing when artists post recordings that are this live sounding. This was totally not the sound I was expecting and suprise is one of the best aspects an musical artist can place upon an audience. The song could use some percussion and bass but ultimately it kept me interested without. Keep it sounding live. That's a bitterly lost art in recorded music these days.

Travis, you have some pretty solid ideas. keep playing, singing and writing. You remind me of Gerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. ...

Welcome to Abomination Featuring Tavis Payne
Yea, this is a reeeeallllyyy raw sound you guys. Is this part of the song's charm..? If so, it's really original. If not, then it would be awesome to hear a mastered version of this song. I mean, the vocals were pretty great from what I could hear, and the guitar work was pretty rad as well. I really enjoyed listening to this. Awesome job you guys.

Great live sound
Personally I love hearing live tracks, thats the majority of what we do too :) This track would sound very well with a studio mix tho. I like the amount of instruments ya got going. We play djembes both for our band, and for others, some hand drums could make a nice difference. Great voice. Also with live tracks, it doesn't leave ya wondering what they would sound like live ya know. keep up the good work guys, sounds great

Welcome to Abomination
I love the song. I just think the mix needs to be improved. The only thing stopping this song from being on the radio is a good, professional mix. Keep up the good work and continue working hard.

Sublime vybe
this is sweet, there needs to be more lyricists with live music instead of this computer created stuff. Good track, maybe get more familiar with your lyrics and timing

This record is not exactly what tha genre says...I can "hear" how hip hop can be incorporated into it, but this is definatley acoustic..I like how tha artist is in his "zone" and how it all flowed together...i can hear subtle bridges and changes (very slight).. Tha only thing i have to say/recommend is to invest in some studio equilpment or studio time..there are many user friendly programs out: acid pro, audacity or more professional like pro tools... A good mic always helps too...a condenser is tha way to go but if you cant afford that, you can get a Blue Snowball by Blue Microphones... It is inexpensive ($100), does not need Phantom Power (its usb)...tha quality is BEYOND OUTSTANDING and sound better than alot of inexpensive condenser mics out now... overall this record has ALOT OF HEART AND CHARACTER and for that i give it 3.5 (would rate higher but lack of quality of sound, for this part of your career, this is your hump to get over) other than that, take a page out of Everlast's page and put a drum break in your acoustic guitar (or live drums) that might inspire you to create something niice..

my review...
is a good one... i like the opening... it totally has that bradley nowell, live party feel... i happen to like that style.. it has a bit of that as well as a "basement tapes" kind of vibe... fresh... i like it... these guys will only get better... peace.

A rough recording, would have liked to hear a studio cut (even from home) of this song, for there is a really good song just waiting to get out.

very cool
i like this. I'd like to hear it with a full band though. And maybe someone scratching, or a synth, or samples, or just something else to carry the song for the whole duration. Use it, don't use it, cool song either way
Welcome to Abomination
The singing sounded simple and smooth, which made up for the music and recording.

This, song could.... probably go somewhere in the counrty market but the sounding is not great and that might hurt the chances of it going anywhere but other wise than that it's ok!
