About Sharla La Bella

Sharla Grable has worked regionally in the southeastern states in film, theatre, (expired link)., commercial print, runway, and as a musician for over 20 years. She is a classically trained vocalist and flautist affluent in the pop, jazz, and soul music genres. Currently she performs in two bands, Nossa Samba and Stanley Dan (a Steely Dan cover band) created by Huntsville, AL composer/arranger Stan Lee, with a third project on the rise to include soulful musical selections. Sharla has been active in her community for a number years and has volunteered for events and programs sponsored by organizations such as The Tennessee Valley Jazz Society, the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Calhoun Community College, Southwood Presbyterian Church, The Rock Family Worship Center, The Downtown Rescue Mission, The North Alabama Girl Scouts Association, and Huntsville City Schools. She was formerly represented by PAMA Agency in Huntsville, AL, and is an affiliate of The Alabama Fashion Alliance in Huntsville. In her spare time Sharla enjoys defying gravity out on the ice as a figure skater.
