The Rebeat is a Bulgarian non-professional DJ and sound experimenter. Born on 07.07.1977 in Sofia.

Sounds are my hobby. I've been working as a sound-editor at rock radio, cable TV, several sound recording and post-production studios, a couple of film productions, computer game voice over... anything related to sound and meanwhile creating my ...I'd like to call them sounds, not tunes. After high-school I began education at the NBU (New Bulgarian University) - Computer Technologies and Music. On the second year I've decided that it's not good enough and went to SAE Amsterdam (School of audio engineering). Unfortunately I didn't menage to finish my audio-engineering course, due to political and financial reasons, but those were the best and happiest days of my sound-related life. I am now graduating back at the NBU and trying to set up a studio/school/art center for contemporary arts. As a DJ I am playing and producing for over 16 years. Been and still in collaborations with lots of artists and events, and I'm pushing it forward to better.
