“That was a great set at The Tiger Bar. A collision of soul-scorching hard rock with speed-fueled thrash metal. This is music that's loud, dirty, raw, and played at a breakneck pace. Just think Motor The Rough Boys was formed by Tom Gervais(Vocals/Bass), Alex “Crazy Licks” Bernier(Guitar), and Sam Greenland(Drums) in May 2009 and made their first live appearance at a pub called Lola in Kensington Market, opening for local world music act The Gypsy Rebels. Originally a loose jammy outfit, one taste of the stage was enough to set the boys off. They started a relentless rehearsal schedule and began their all-out assault on the GTA’s music scene. Since then, the boys tireless work ethic and perseverance has seen them blaze some of the city’s hottest venues with their scorching, high energy live act: Lee’s Palace, The Rivoli, The Hard Rock Café, The Mod Club, The Opera House and the Dakota Tavern(Opening for the Mahones) to name a few.
