The Tumors formed in the summer of 2008 with influences from Nirvana, Blink 182, Eve 6 and Gooch. Great things will come from this band in the near future and no doubt it will be Epic! Add our myspace The Tumors are a band formed in the summer of 2008 in a town where punk rock was looked down upon and was dominated by the hardcore scene. Despite all this, the Tumors formed after Gooch broke up, leaving the core of Gooch (Mike Callahan on bass guitar and Tom Blass on drums) to prevail and start a new band with Shaun "Kelso" Lunn. The first Tumors practice was incredible and a rough version of "Foot In Mouth" was created. The band practiced for months on end and stand out songs were "Foot In Mouth", "Waterfalls", "Stalkher", "Classy Kate", "Alcoholism Runs in the Family" and "Something Clever (Epic)". After recording two very rough demos, the "Acoustic Demo" and the "Insert Tumor Here EP", the Tumors decided to embark on a studio quality demo. Michael Bitterman and producer Will Wells took on the Tumors to their independent label, Midnight Mod Records in Woodstock NY. The EP was titled "Eviction Party EP" due to Kelso and Tom constantly being evicted from their two homes. The EP as well as shows on numerous occasions brought compliments from fan
