The Wild Boars

Well, it has been a long time I guess, but that's only because we haven't really had any news for you. There have been a few gigs, but they've all been local and most of you suscribers aren't even in the same country as us, never mind the same city, so you probably wouldn't have been that interested.
I can tell you that the recording for the new album is nearly finished. Apart from a few bits and pieces, all the music has been recorded and we're just trying to finish the vocals now.... we're hoping to release by Christmas....so hopefully you'll have another gift option ;-)
If you take a look at our N1M page, you'll notice that all three tracks are available for free download... so help yerselves!
I'll be back soon with some more updates, I won't leave it so long next time, I promise!

This is the first update of 2016, though we don't really have much to tell you other than work on the album continues, slowly but surely. We also have our first gig of the year lined up for next month, more details of that will be coming soon. It's a local one in Turin, so I don't imagine we'll see too many of you there..but, you never know! ;-)

Hi there, we don't really have a lot of news for you. Work is still steadily continuing on the new album and progress is being made. We'd just like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, or if you are of another persuasion, just enjoy your time off work, do things you like doing and spend time with people you enjoy spending time with!
As it's Christmas, we thought we'd make all three songs on our profile available for free download over the next few days, so feel free!

Hi y'all, how's it going?
First of all, we'd like to welcome all of you who've subscribed to this newsletter since we issued the first one, it's good to have you here!
We don't actually have a great deal of news for you, just that we're still in the process of recording the new album, as the photo we include here shows...it's a slow process. It's alright for all those professional bands on major labels who can go into some studio in the middle of the countryside for a month or so and come out when the record's finished...we've all got (expired link) and families so we have to make do with one evening a week (yeah I know, heartbreaking isn't it ;-) ....).
Anyways, while you're waiting for the new album, I've put a couple of new tracks (new to you that is) on our N1M page....one of which is attached here and you can download it absolutely free of charge, a little something from our 2012 live album.... don't say we don't treat you well!

Hi y'all. This is the first time we've written to you from here on N1M and most of you probably have no idea who we are, so allow us to introduce ourselves! We are the Wild Boars, and we're from Turin in north-west Italy. We play a blend of country, folk and rock 'n' roll, and we've been together for about 7 or 8 years now. In at that time we've (self) released two albums, a studio album called "A Bottle Or A Gun" (available on all the main digital platforms) and a live album called "Live At Gilgamesh" (which you can only really get at our gigs). We've also played live shows all over northern Italy as well as in Switzerland, Germany and the UK. We've stopped our live activities for the moment to concentrate on recording what will become our second studio album (as the photos attached to this newsletter can testify) and third release in total and we hope to have it ready for the new year, when we'll start gigging again...
Anyway, check out our official site (and our N1M page) and contact us on social media if you feel so inclined, we'd love to hear from you! We'll keep you posted on the new album and any new shows we arrange for the new year.
