This Patch of Sky

Welcome to another installment of the This Patch of Sky newsletter! We might be hard at work in the studio writing and recording for our next album, but that didn't stop us from bringing our fans a new music video. We are beyond excited to bring you the video premiere for the track "Time Destroys Everything, But Out Foundation Remains" from S/T. Head on over to The Creators Project now and give it a watch or ten. We definitely suggest ten. Don't forget to tell your mom, dad, brother, sister, cat, dog and, well, you get the idea. We teamed up with the award-winning Italian illustrator/animator/digital artist Sergio Pastore to collaborate on the video for one of the more popular tracks from the album. The 8+ minute video explores the idea that the title conveys; you see a barren land and worn, weary figures, but come to find that in spite of it all their essence will always persevere. Its all about the light and how it revives what you thought could have been lost. Guitarist, Kit Day comments, "Sergio's animation tethers itself perfectly with This Patch of Sky's sound as we are strictly instrumental and the music is much more about the journey rather than the words."
