The passion for rhythm and drums has brought us together.
Employing the pure sound of drums rather then melody instruments stands in a long ethnical tradition: from ancient times on humans of different cultures have expressed themselves by rhythm only and thus conveyed a special attitude to life. drumlet’s mission is to revive this original use of drums and their power of expression.
We are inspired by the different rhythms that comes from all around the world. If we play the rhythm of the Samba, the Taiko, African or Asian dances, if in rock, pop, techno, march or classical music – we always focus our attention on the moving power of the groove.
