The Dublin Castle
United Kingdom, London, 94 Parkway, London, NW1 7ANThose Naughty Lumps Liverpudlian post punk heroes of Erics, who were far too good and far too much fun to be considered hip and cool by the cognoscenti back in 1979, but that's all grist to our mill coz their subtly comedic somewhat risque punk pop makes for a fabulous night out all these years later in their reformed condition. And it's not all 'Iggy Pop's Jacket'The music is a sophisticated blend of punk, show tunes and kick ass rocknroll. Wonderful entertainment. Julian Cope was once their bass player ya know
Twister the punkiest contenders on the Britpop barricades back in the mid 1990s, we all loved Twister. New material, old material, all great. They shoulda bin coulda bin up there in the Top 10 kicking punk sand in Supergrass's monkey face back in the day, but hey, who cares, we've got tonight!
The Legendary Too Drunk where Ramones and Undertones post '76 nuanced punk pop meets Dollsy grind and 1960s garage grease for some some remarkably funtime arsing about with pounding riddims. Perhaps slightly less drunk now? Perhaps not.
Semion it's a boner joke, a bona fide boner jokewitty alt rock with a Zappa goes to The Roxy vibe, can't be bad
Bearded Ladies tackling the underhair arm of Rock with the Ladyshave of Roll, in fact they are men
