About Tian El

Christian L. Ocasio Perez (born in Yauco,Puerto Rico in May 10th, 1990) ,recognize to some as “Tian El” trying to set his goal on becoming a recognize artist, performer and entertainer, he has giving his life for some years to rise from the cradle where he had dream for so long. Writing hundreds of lyrics, dedicating time to create music beats. He also participated in so many talent competitions and auditions trying to proof what he’s capable of. Something very important for Tian El through life is that someday he’ll be capable of reaching stardom and perfecting the skills to perform live with no fears and do it as a second nature too.

Earlier years, Tian El's brother Anthony Ocasio played in some bands. One of them was (expired link) Subject who started around 2005, where the lead vocalist was his sister in law Karina Ruberte a model; she was featured in the (expired link) music video. Watching his brother played in this punk band, he was inspired to write lyrics, but the lyrics were directed to a more punk-rock style, talking about more darker or social themes. In high school Tian El & two other friends were going to start an EMO/Punk band which by the time where the photo shoot and band name were created and they started putting together some songs as: "Hell Between Earth", ""We live it", "Unspotted" & others, they split for some confrontations between band members. By this time already creating hundreds of lyrics Tian El was still searching to get to the public and share his feelings, thoughts & visions on the stage. Also, before Tian El music interest grew even more, Tian wanted to be an actor. He pursues acting and music with talent shows and auditions through Puerto Rico imitating such artists as: Green Day, RBD & Lu, also playing as a guitarist. On top of been able to draw anime & cartoons, Tian El wrote adventure books in the early days.

First EP album with a five songs is available through MySpace, and then it became available in YouTube and now available on (expired link) & around other sites. The EP album “Pop Culture” started being recorded by August 2009 through winter 2009. Influenced by artist such as: Klaus Nomi: Clothing/Fashion/Style Dangerous Muse : Provocative/Sensation Pet Shop Boys :Pop/Synth Other influential styles: Military concept, Steam Punk glasses & other accessories… Future Styles: Goth sub-culture influences, Victorian, Elyzabethian & Japan: Influence by Harajuku & other styles. Futuristic, Epic Pop, New Wave, Synth-Pop & Pop. Metallic fashion.

On winter 2010, Tian El traveled to Ohio, USA, to accomplish his visionary dream of becoming a singer, songwriter & performer for audiences. After some months in August 2010 it became clearer the passion for music that was enveloping Tian El, he started taking Piano classes and Voice couching & lessons to become a better singer. His teacher classified him as a countertenor afterward. The debut album is to this date pending. Although some songs are confirm to be recorded. In January 2011, Tian El finished writing two other songs called: Do That Dance & Monk. These songs were singles Tian El recorded at Bad Racket by March 2011.
