About TimecodE
Although the band’s roots date back to 1994, it was not after 2001 that they manage to unify musical goals, thus culminating a restructuring process which results in the concept and sound reflected on their first official production, “Endless Feelings MCD”, released in 2003 by a dutch label Real Noise Records. This work definitely gave TimecodE a renown in the metal scene.
After some line-up changes and the recording of a live DVD “Live in Confinement” in 2005, TimecodE independently released “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” album in 2009, with a good recognition by the audience and media for the remarkable musical development achieved by the band which not only attracted the fans’ attention but also Australis Records Label which whom TimecodE signed a new record deal for their second album.
Under the musical production of Igor Leiva in July 2011, the band record a promotional Ep called “Impediment To Cure” and their second album “Lapses”, both works released by Australis Records in 2012, in which the band show more maturity reached in nearly 20 years of experience. A successful promotional tour in Europe during 2014 having shows in cities in Germany and Poland, gives as a result a quest of constant development on professional and musical matters, a condition which has positioned TimecodE as one of the most representative Chilean Death Metal bands.
Timecode is a band that has faced many changes in their lineup over the years and far from being a setback, are always considered as part of the required processes to generate the constant strengthening of its musical base, which after the years has remained solid. Between 2016 and 2017, Oliver Moris (guitars) and Sebastián Silva (vocals), have joined the band to work with Celso Garcés, Víctor Trujillo and Danilo Estrella on the third full-length, which undoubtedly seeks to consolidate the name of TimecodE based on a constant musical evolution.
