About Timothy Buss
I learned to play the piano while in the 4th grade from a mail-order course that my mother had used many years before. I spent time in the school band program as a cornet player, before getting into a rock band as a bass player in high school.
After graduation, I toured for a time and then returned home to set up a recording studio. I worked on my chops with guitar and drums for about a year, and then, eventually, I fell into playing with and recording several church worship teams, spending many years working as a worship music team consultant, and also playing with groups at some larger venues, too. Later, I moved to Richmond, where I worked out of a home studio writing production music. I have also been a "hired gun" multi-instrumentalist for many years. I continued to do mixing, mastering and producing bands. I had the opportunity to be trained by some of the best in the business.
Now as a solo recording artist, in my residence studio in Logan, WV, I am not only working on music composition but also licensing songs for movies and commercials. I have also written the book "Success for Musicians." I am a consultant for musicians and bands looking to become continuously more successful! I have a growing number of videos on YouTube.
