Tim Penn

Hi folks, several people have asked where they can get my music - which I initially didn't release to the US because of copyright issues. Now my distributor can separate streaming from download releases - the album We Are What We Are, It Is What It Is by my band Tim Penn and The Second Line - is now on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and Deezer in the US. You should also be able to find my previous album Down In The Deep - which has Bluebird on it. The band was then called Tim Penn and The Strange Sins.

I posted a new track Extra Ecstasy, which I wrote way back in the 1970s, which has had no plays yet, Very different from Bluebird - got a little bit of a Memphis soul feel with a Professor Longhair Rhumba piano break Hope you enjoy. I'll be posting another recent recording fairly soon.

Meanwhile, my current band and I are getting very excited as we are playing Ronnie Scott's Jazz club this coming Sunday (OK - so only the upstairs bar) - and we've nearly sold out.
