Today again, is a quiet day where I am detaching from what I can not control or fix.. which is the craziness going on right now with the Corona Virus. In a way it has brought me back to simplicity, listening and playing more music and enjoying good books, and some bing watching of Netflix! I have especially had time to listen to more music on N1M and am grateful for so many people reaching out. Thank you for the gift of music and the healing power it brings to us all.!!

Hi, my name is Tina Shafer and I am a singer songwriter, vocal coach and Director of The legendary New York Songwriters Circle. My whole life has been dedicated to writing music, teaching music and providing a platform for songwriters to have a community. Writing is a lonely career and the more that we can reach out and find others who share our stories and songs, the better. I have been blessed to perform with many of today's most talented artists and also to be a teacher to many and mentor young performers. I was a signed writer to Warner Chappell for many years and wrote for Celine Dion, Phoebe Snow, Billy (expired link) Easton, Donna Summers, but the business changed and now we are all finding new ways to promote our music.
