TJ Hooka (MC Bad Bwoy V - MC TJ - MC Da Danger - Mr Rave) The MurderSquad Sound Crew from 1990 was where it started for me as a performer. My first raves I attended were in 1988 in the UK at illegal rave warehouse parties. Big cities like Manchester Leeds Nottingham had clubs we travelled to for breaking clashes from 1985 - 1987 leading to being a 'Steppa'! I grew up surrounded by Reggae Dub Soundsystems. Always there permeated in to my genes! The local Soundsystems would challenge travelling Soundsystem's. Crews from big cities would come to local venues or 'Spots' and 'Clash' these became legendary events. The original Soundsystems had names like Coxsone Dodd Soundsystem from JA. The UK had its champions too like Saxon Soundsystem, Channel One, Aba Shanti to name a few.
