About T-Kush

Born and raised in West Oakland, Virgil "Tank" Jackson, This maestro goes by the name of T-kush, and is also a founding member of Capture The Glory (CTG). Tank is not your typical rapper. He has stated that his style is versatile and original. He credits is upbringings in West Oakland for having shaped his musical talents. “ Just growing up here was hard it feels like a place where you can’t escape, music is my outlet. It helps me vent about my frustrations, the good, bad and happy times of my life”. Tank’s Career started in 2008 and unlike most modern rappers, he says he does it for the love of the music. “ I dove into the rap scene in 2008, “its something I can’t go without doing I’m in love with the music”. You can catch him rocking the mic in Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, & Cupertino. Tank and Fellow CTG members are set to release their highly anticipated mix tape “The Kush Chronicles” coming soon
