Song Reviews
upbeats and syncopation
New Wave by Todd Jedinak starts with a hypnotic introduction. It appears the tempo is the same rate as the delay time on the signal processing. Nice; it gets the listener involved instantly. The rhythm track is also exceptional, and more than just the beat, with lots of upbeats and syncopation. There is improvising everywhere, yet it always fits perfectly; and maybe was written that way. This music builds as it goes along, with dynamics and more complicated parts for the instruments. Once the synth gets strong, New Wave really starts to cook. The drums are improvising a bit more but the tempo stays solid. If you listen a few times you can start to feel what the artist has to say; and Todd says it very well. I’m already looking for more music from Todd Jedinak.

"New wave" instrumental review
"New wave" instrumental features a variety of instruments and I do like the arrangement. I especially like the beginning with lead keyboards. Drums are well put together with other instruments especially with guitar. All in all it is a cool instrumental! I do like your drums playing.

A Pleasant Ride
This amazing song begins with a soft and airy breeze, but the honest and real down to earth guitar sounds make if possible for me to stay firm on the ground. Those sounds will have soon company of some great galopping beats , those are a real treat. It is almost a shame that the song ends.....so let's give it another listen. Great work. Meats all my standards for a fine and good listen.

Very good job!
Very nice song! Very good orchestration and the production is also powerful. The accoustic part in the middle of the song is atmospheric and it has a good rythm. The solo work also good. The continuing of the song with the electronic sounds also interesting. The song gets proggier and the closing is more melodic and gives a way for the keys to guide the track. I wait for another song to review! :)

Creative mind at work in Todd Jedniak
This is very good guitar driven instrumental prog rock. Not sure why it's entitled "New Wave" because a prospective listener might think it is 80s "new wave" music, which it isn't. It has the prog rock ingredients one would expect, good melodies that are memorable enough to become earworms, melodic bass, time signature changes and an ambience that demands repeated listenings. In fact I'm going back to hear it again right now. wish Todd had made this thing longer with some extended guitar solos. The last good prog I heard coming from Indiana was Ethos many years ago, and glad to see the Hoosier state has produced this kind of artist again.

Todd Jedinak
This track is nice. Nice calming mix of Pink Floyd and Tom Sawyer type sound. Beats remained in sync and on tempo throughout the track. Nothing negative to report. Has great potentials for moving up the charts and in collaboration projects. Great Job!

Review of New Wave
Thank you for asking me to review your music. This piece starts off with a soft tone that leads with anticipation. The percussion and lead guitar come in for a more direct approach giving some different take of variety. Many things that keep music moving is a variety and direction. There is a nice bridge that gives it some contrast that allows you to get a feel of things. Nicely mixed! Nicely done!

Keep on going
Hi, Todd. Don't know why you asked us for a review, but here it is. I think there are some interesting ideas in your track, but also seems to me it lacks some main theme there, something you can return to as the tune develops that catches one's attention. The way it is laid out it gives me the impression of being a sort of 'collage' of riffs that were put one next to the other but with little or no relation to each other. I also think the drums are somehow "over present" trough out the entire track. Since you asked or an honest review, I hope you won't get upset by what I wrote. Keep in mind that it's just my opinion as a listener, it's also a matter of personal taste and that I'm not a pro. But keep on moving on. Regards from Portugal! – Luis Afonso, of Flammärion.

Nice!!
I like the production sound and the vibe of the track along with the originality. I can feel the heart in this showing you've put in some dedicated work on your art. I like the introduction and the guitar solo. More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. If you're ever looking for a hip hop collaboration hit me up I'm versatile. Peace!
