Song Reviews
Deep
Very dark, dissonant, beautiful...Nick Cave would cover this. This is Joy Division meets Swans meets XTC meets Johnny Cash...i like it. This could be used in any movie or soundtrack, indie film etc., do yourself a favor and promote it that way as well. Nice work!

Deep - in more ways than one
Something very Nick Cave about this. It wouldn't go amiss on a Peaky Blinders soundtrack. Lovely, bare acoustic track (some nice maj7 chords) that work really well with a deep vocal, and lyrics recalling a historical event, not unlike U2's Red Hill Mining Town. Well worth a listen.

A Very Distinct and Original Sound!!!
At first listen, the acoustic guitar captivated my attention. Excellent craftsmanship with music and lyrical content. This song invokes a sound that is reminiscent of music that was made centuries ago...which is a great accomplishment! It has a polished and professional sound! Nice work!

7 Days and More!
Hi Tommy! Your sound is thoughtful, pensive, yes poetic. perhaps a little Pink Floydy but more solemn. I can see this sound lending itself to a movie piece where the mood is more heavy and building. Though it is a shorter piece, it could be the lead into perhaps a more moving up-tempo rock serenade and that would actually make the song even more tantalizing to the musical ears! I can see your song in movies and film! I wish you all the very best, and thank you so much for sharing your tune with me!! Have a great weekend! And Turn Up the Tunes!! Rachel :-)

Nice Acoustic intro.
Interesting Vocal pitch. Sounds very sad and lonely type of song. Lyrics are interesting and melancholy. Could use a little more behind the guitar track maybe some keyboard strings. I like it over all.

Cash'n'Cave deep
Took me deep into the Southern Gothic territory of Johnny Cash's final albums and the dark twisted sooth-saying of Nick Cave without being a mere 'tribute' to either. Its brevity seemed to make it even more potent like a trailer to a movie that you want to see more of. Subtle and powerful.

Old Lead Mine
Hey Tommy, Your acoustic guitar instrumental reminds me of the introduction to a song by Bread. It is in contradiction in a lighter mood to your sad words. I enjoyed the music so very much. The lyrics like an epic story unfolding to the listeners which resonates with me living in Wales, UK in sympathy for the Welsh and English Coal Miners plight. "Lives never lived, the tears never shed." Vocals are well placed in the music and your natural talent as a Singer Song Writer shines in this song very brightly. I hope it is heard by those retired miners and they are able to shed their tears. Five stars on all counts!

Old Lead Mine
Tommy Jensen's song Old Lead Mine strikes you from the beginning with it's Minor Key melancholy. Expressing what it must be like to work the Mines. It paints a bleak existence in the lead mines of England. I wonder if this song is talking about a specific mining accident that happened in England. If so, Tommy's voice lends a strong sense of the emotion that would be associated with such an accident. I hope I'm on the right track here. At any rate, I am stating what I am hearing in the song. It's a plaintive song of sorrow and reminisce for the listener. It reminds me of the feeling when I listen to The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. The simplicity of guitar with just a couple of chords and key changes backed up by a boding drown of an organ or violin or scythe and then an occasional sigh of a background vocal, adds to the emotional message the song conveys. Nicely done!

ode to darkness
Leonard cohen esc promising acoustic. could do with some bottom end bass or something hard to turn poems into song lest you can make them chant. this is an ode of dark mining days the song picks up. at around 1:45. then fades like the poem. i suppose for a short work you say what you need too. the harmonies help it along and the vague string also helps might be better. with a change of backing when you change chords.

Dope!
I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

I really enjoyed this song
The music had great sounds and tones that really grabbed my attention. Songwriting and vocals were on point and brought as much to the song as the music did. Very well made and I really did enjoy it a lot. Just wanted to give you a little feedback didn’t have anything negative to say about it at all. Thanks for your time
