Love is a Confession by Tom TC
This is a very well done song. Mellow and pleasant. Great vocals and well constructed. This song could easily be heard on any multi-genre radio station. The relatively complex chord progressions are masterfully constructed. As I am listening to it, I realize what a great soundtrack/movie score song it would make. I may be a hard rocker, but I know good when I hear it. And this is good. The guitar work in the solo break is very good. This is a truly great song! Good work Tom!

Great Song - beautiful atmosphere, interesting chords, nice voice... It sounds very radiophone, it's like a radio-hit! For me there is nothing more to say - it's a cool song - nothing more and nothing less. Gut gemacht! :)

Arena Rock!
This one reminds me on the stadium rock bands from the late 70s and early 80s. The vocal harmonies, the spheric guitars, the solo at the end - all really well done and made for a big audience. Very good recording as well. Maybe a bit outdated in these days, but at least I don't care. Quality remains quality, no matter whether it's old or new. I particularly like the idea of the rhythmic pattern with all those breaks in the first half of the song. A stadium drummer would have hammered through the song from stroke 1 to the end. So yes, there's also something contemporary here! Keep it up.

Love is a Confession review
I liked this song a lot, really liked the guitar riff that plays throughout the song and the guitar solo was cool too, the tune is very melodic and well played, the vocals are great and the backing vocals compliment them well, the mix is spot on, nice and clear, well done with an excellent job and good luck.

Honest song from the heart to the heart
Some songs you just know and feel are written from the very depth of some ones heart. This is a song like that, very honest and naked and it gets to you. The singing is in tune and every thing correct and in the right place. very well played. The song builds up as it continues. I would have loved to hear a more naked version of the this song. Not that it is anything wrong with how it is made now, but I think it would grow even further in maybe an acoustic version. But that is just a thought/wish, it is a GREAT song as is! I liked it and will listen to it again, and again Thank you!

love is a confession ( right here and now)
good sound ,/production nice LV great suspense/ riff in intro LV could be louder up to 1.03 ok i´m a little confused about the arrange ment, pre chorus and chorus sound the same I would have the chorus end on´´nothing lasts fore ever´´with a three part hormony BV folowing the LV and take the melody line up , straight into v2 and half it , then chorus 2 here a change of tempo BRIDGE then guit solo ( the last half) 2x chorus ......what I feel generally is that it starts great and then runs out of steam /dynamics , maybe change the title,I think that the song has potential and is worth working on the arrange ment ...ps a litte less fx on the LV would make it a little more personal .....good luck

Great Vibe !!
This song to me has a strong U2 vibe and there is nothing wrong with that. Tom TC puts his own personal touch and melody on Love is a confession. This song has a professionally recorded sound and excellent lead guitar work to go along with delayed guitars that melt the song together. He has a high quality rock vocal voice and the arrangement of this tune is fantastic!! Check out Tom TC and his song Love is a confession as well as other songs he has. A must listen on N1M !!!

Love is this song.
Love the opening, and the violins/strings start. Sigh... great. The vocals start and I'm already loving the song. I can understand the song and the building momentum. This is what a strong, empowering great adult contemporary (AC) song is about. This is classified as Heavy Rock for the Review, but it's clearly not a heavy rock type of song. Vocals have a touch of "Hootie & The Blowfish." Great song.

Decent song
This is a pretty decent song and although it is not really the kind of music I would usually listen to I can still appreciate the effort which has been put in. It has a good melody and nice guitar work, the composition is very good and the lyrics too. The lead singer does a good job too and has a very good voice. All the recording levels are very professional and it sounds like it was recorded in a Real studio. Good work

Love Is A Confession is superb from start to finish!
Love Is A Confession is a beautiful ballad with a great sounding guitar intro that is very reminiscent of Pink Floyd. The lyrics are well written and the vocalist timbre and range are impressive and memorable. The progressions provide great support for the vocal; the changes are tastefully done and serve well to make this piece interesting from start to finish. The instrumentation is great and the guitars are superbly played. The guitar solo near the end makes for a memorable ending and beckons you to play it again. Love Is A Confession is a marvelous composition that deserves attention. Play it loud.

Love Is A Confession
Musically I hear some nice layering but a few things I might have left out or possibly put a little lower in the mix. I'm thinking a keyboard bell sound at one point sticks out in my head. The song is well written and everything sounds like it's in key and I don't hear anything that stands out as flat or pitchy. The thing that bothers me about this song is dynamics. After I started listening to the song and got the idea of what you were going for I was looking for that build up for the chorus and it never really happened. This could be because of too much compression on your mix or too much maximizer on your mastering. Too much of either of those things quash the dynamics of the music or you simply didn't think of making it dynamic. This song makes me think of Mike And The Mechanics "Living Years" go to You Tube and listen to that song and listen to that mix and the dynamics of that song and compare it your song and you'll see what I'm getting at. The song is well written and performed I think most of the issues I hear and in the mix and not the actual writing or performance of the song. I hope you take all I've given you as positive criticism and go up and forward from here!

Really nice song
I really enjoyed listening to this song. Good vocals, great production, great structure, totally professional. Kind of has a bit of a 90's commercial rock feel to it. I like the lyrics a lot and you can tell that Tom put his heart and soul into this song, it's filled with emotion, which is important in writing a good song. Looking forward to hearing more music from this artist.

"My kinda' music!"
First of all, I clicked on three songs before yours. None of them grabbed my interest, yours did. Right out of the gate I liked what I was hearing. The guitar/synth playing the intricate lick, backed by the strings was beautiful. Your voice sounds unique and it made me want to listen to the story. The chords changes, while simple, worked very well together. They took you up, and then brought you back down. I would've brought a heavier guitar in on the chorus, but that's just me. Your guitar lead was awesome, if that term is still relevant. Either way, your tone and the "melody" of the guitar lead was well put together and well played. At different times, the song reminded me of Journey, who I love. I'm a keyboardist primarily, but I do play guitar as well. I appreciate keyboards in music, and your strings were beautiful. Overall, this is a great tune. You did your homework with this one. Great job! Keep rockin'! David

Excellent
This is an excellent love song, not leaving anything to wish for. Starting with the skillfully placed vocal harmonies almost all the way through, excellent instrumentation, recording and mix. The song weaves me into an emotional journey with highlights on the way that just wants me to listen to more. Love the key changes, exactly at the right place and time. You can be really proud of this work.

Great song!
I listened to your tune several times and I can tell you that I am honored you asking me to write a review of your song. It has a great power of energy, it is emotional and honest. It made my mind and imagination fly with the lyrics of the song. It has a Sting influence, and those are mayor words. Congratulations. Great voice. The chorus arrangements are amazing. Wish you all the best. Kindest regards, Chris

I have a confession... I really love this song...
Tom TC brings us "Love is a confession" and my confession is I really love this song! Its not so much about the lyrics or the vocals or any of the instrumentation but as a collection and as a song there is a great deal to appreciate in this song. It has in a most clever manner created space and a sonic platform. Another redeeming quality about this song is that while it has been clearly mastered to be "radio ready" it has maintained its dynamic range and they chose not to crush the mix as a whole. That goes a long way with me. Well done!

Love is
Reminds me of The police Every Breath you take at the beginning and U2 With or without you , the way the guitar lick repeats under the cord changes is in the same style that I write my own songs Saying that I actually love this song ,great vocals a cross between Nickelback and Peal jam. Amazing great sounding guitar solo And very catchy chorus. The strings just add a lovely full sound. Great song keep up the good work. :-)
