Fractured Poetry Shakes The Philly Scene!
Our new album, FRACTURED POETRY, had it's worldwide release in August/September. We are thrilled with the reviews and responses we've received from both critics and our loyal fans in the early going. " This music (to our ears) evokes classic American rock, like Springsteen, or the Afghan Whigs (Tony's voice) and is well-played and produced throughout. The song list - from ballads through upbeat pop to genuine rock wig-outs - bowls along with some great hooks and choruses. The sounds used really tickled our '70s sensibilities, (a real issue for us!), the arrangements were always interesting and the playing excellent There are no weak tunes in this collection, but a few particularly appealed to us, including Fun House - a terrific start to the album that really evoked the Afghan Whigs for us; Terrifying Lies - with its wonderful minor chord progression; Fall Fade and Forget - with its rocking groove and, finally, The Dark Side of Love - a great closer.
