Well, probably not. Let's not try to butcher a great book, and a very commendable set of Movies by going down to the road of cheap knock-offs and commercialism. I did, however, write a whole bunch of songs dedicated to the Lord of the Rings trilogy back in the 80's and have been remastering them this past year for you to enjoy. Mainly because of my admiration for "concept" albums, mostly created by Pink Floyd and the Alan Parsons Project of the 70's and 80's. Most of the songs I have written for this trilogy was actually motivated after watching the animated film by Ralph Bakshi back in the early 80's. Some of these songs, such as Knife in the Dark, and Land of Shadow, received some radio airplay both in Canada and New Zealand (yeah, real close ties there, hehe) But these were incomplete recordings. This year, I am releasing as much of the completed copies to listen to, as I am some that are still in the "mixing" stage. Hope you can come over to my links and listen to them sometime. Thanks.
