About Tornado 4:18

Tornado 4:18 Born in Baltimore MD. The name Tornado 4:18 came from one of the many rambling conversations
that he was having one day and he said that he want to be one of the strongest
unstoppable forces in music and in spreading God's word.
A tornado he said "is an unstoppable force that clears paths and changes lives."

The number 4:18 actually references scripture
St. Luke 4:18, which reads as follows:

The Spirit of the Lord is a pond me, because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed.

Many of the lyrics written are an effort to reach the young before they go down a path from which
recovery may be difficult or so difficult that they do not even try. In addition to reaching those on the path
to get them a word of encouragement to change direction and come to God.
Tornado 4:18 means something to all who would dare to ask.

- Where is God in your life -

To which his reply is:

My steering wheel,
My Pilot
My comforter
My shield

I want to spread God's message just the way my mentors spread it to me.

As a Christian Hip Hop gospel artist Tornado 4:18 is on a mission to bring souls to Christ.
Described as passionate, entertaining and thought provoking. Tornado 4:18 began his music
career at church. Knowing he was not the best vocalist, Tornado 4:18 was inspired by the secular
hip hop styles of Tupac Shakur, particularly the song "Keep Your Head Up" to bring his thoughts
and feelings into a lyrical format. Going through personal trials on his own, the song spoke to
Tornado 4:18 and inspired him to strengthen his relationship with the Lord and link his own ministry
to help hip hop.
Having favorites in both the secular and gospel music scenes, Tornado 4:18 credits the late great Michael Jackson
for inspiring his performance style. He also lists contemporary christian artist such as Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary,
Donnie McClurkin and secular artist such as the Black Eyed Peas and Tupac Shakur.
A noted fan favorite where he performs, Tornado 4:18 has performed at many churches and community events in the
Mid-Atlantic area including Arrow Child and Family Ministries in which he is an alumni of their youth ministry.
Tornado 4:18 is also currently a member of St. John Experience A United Methodist Congregation.
