I, Xander, am the founder of Tower of Silence (TOS). Since 2001, TOS has been an "off-and-on" project depending on the time I was capable of devoting. I grew up mainly listening to classical music, Chris Isaaks, and weird shit like Manheim Steamroller and Seamus Egan - the radio being strictly controlled by my strict mother. When I reached the age of rebellion, I immersed myself in rock and metal as well as various forms of electronic music which I have always loved. Eventually, I went off to college, studied Musical Theater and Classical Voice, and traveled abroad performing in both opera and rock bands.

I am very grateful for all my fans and the support you show for Tower of Silence!
Even though I've been on N1M for a little while now, I've never explored it nor engaged my fanbase. For this I apologize and promise this won't be the case from here on out. Keep an ear out for new music as I will first start adding some oldies and then start posting newbies as I complete them.

About Tower of Silence
Tower of Silence (TOS) is a one man operation consisting of me Xander. I started TOS in 2001 as I was musically messing around with a few high school friends. The idea originally was for it to be a personal project of mine where I made music on a computer with some live instrumentation. However, upon returning to Cincinnati from abroad in 2008, I gathered a few close friends and made TOS a live musical entity. For the better part of four years we put on live performances complete with make-up, props, and the general debauchery that goes along with it :-). But, alas, good things rarely last forever. Life happened to a few of us and the live band went on "indefinite hiatus" in spring of 2012.
Since then, I have taken TOS back to its roots...
