SIX YEARS AGO, I HAD AN IDEA to amalgamate my different musical styles into a concept album. In 2018, The Yeshua Tree was born: the first of a three-part series showcasing the pop-rock, dance and acoustic genres. Five years later in April of 2023, finally The Yeshua Tree 2 is released! Says broadcast journalist and CR reviewer, John Cheek, ‘the second “Tree” is full of fruit that has clearly ripened and matured and now provides a sumptuous feast of tasty dishes that can, at times, be described as Christian goth…
‘The first three tracks, the Dance Club Branch, contain prime examples of deep house that takes the listener on a journey to the dancefloor and beyond, evoking personal and spiritual horizons and bringing things long-residing in the back of your mind to the forefront of your reflections…’
Other branches on volume 2 include Christian Goth, Bonus and Special Branch. Says John,
