Born in Melbourne, Victoria in 1982 i started playing the drums at a very young age, moved to the Gold Coast in 1993 age 11. By 13 i fell into the Maori culture and way of life with 75% of my close friends being Maori or from New Zealand in general, i then picked up the guitar by 15 playing acoustic style taught to me by close friends but also surrounded by an extensive range of hip hop, i was instantly influence from beats to lyrical content they way they told a story, by 16 i started my first rock/rap group where i first started rapping i guess putting rhymes together but with more of a political basis to my stories about negative things i was exposed to at a young age, the group lasted about a year then fell apart due to band members addictions, but by 17 i was in a mostly Maori crew doing stupid bullshit hustling, i aint even gotta say it yall know what im talking about, but i soon found myself back in Melbourne for 12 months laying low before moving to Brisbane, where i found myself back to old habits and homeless by 19 bailing up at friends houses every night where i started freestyling and writing poetry as a way to release my emotions and anger and all that bullshit.
