A Love Song

Travis Nay brings his strong baritone voice to lead this compelling and uplifting Christian song. It's a simple message but a familiar one that is certainly powerful. "Always... yesterday, today, forever the same". The synth driven production is interesting and musical. There's a guitar to bring in some rock element and all in all it's a nice and very listenable song and production. I can see this getting some radio play and also fitting well into a movie or tv show where an inspirational feel good scene needs this. Nice work! I look forward to hearing more from this talented and inspired artist.

Encouraging Song and Nice Voice

My Love Will Never Change by Travis Nay is a nice song with an encouraging message. He has a very soothing voice that is nice to listen to. Musically it's well written and performed. A couple of critiques, one is the production. The vocals are mixed too hot above the music. Unfortunately it gives it a karaoke kind of feel. The drum track sounds too mechanical. It would be nice to hear more variety in the drumming even if it is a loop or sampled drums. The other is, and this isn't a big one for me, the lyrics. I would have liked to hear more of them rather than repeating the same ones. Lastly, I'm wondering why this song is tagged as a blues number? I didn't catch any blues type licks or expressions in it. I've listened to other songs by Travis Nay and I like his music and I hope that others take the opportunity to check him out.

Interesting and evocative

What I like about this, is passion runs throughout. Not just romance, but an intensity that reminds me of the competence of Brian Eno, Brian Ferry and Roxy Music. A time that could be described as the romantic period of pop music that was the best of the 80s, but a nice twist on it. Good job

My Love Will Never Change

Nice job Travis - Smooth vocals and cool lyrics. I'm not a fan of the synth but in this song it works. To make this song a number one - take it to a proper recording studio and have a mix that doesn't sound so mechanical. I give this a 6 out of Ten

Very hip music...

Travis sounds like David Bowie...and that's a very good thing. The songwriting and presentation are first class. So I suggest you give Travis Nay a listen and share his music. I don't have any more to add so I'm just gonna add some nonsense words like thisgyqerfghtyiojkgggrefguyujo[ferglyiupyt]hujy0-]ko7=

Listening to Travis Nay's song: "My Love Will Never Change"

Nice tune, the music is very well done, very professional. Musically, a pleasant pop song, with some interesting instrumental twists throughout. I particularly like the guitar in the beginning. Travis has a very strong voice, and has obviously been singing for some time, and I am sure has had some vocal training. His sustained notes are strong throughout and his voice is pleasing to the ear. My only criticism would be that the melody is a bit repetitive, and does not really showcase his vocal ability. I would have enjoyed it more if the melody meandered a bit, and if only the chorus had followed the basic pattern. That would have made it possible to bring in some harmonies on the chorus, and make it more interesting as well. I kept wanting to hear Travis belt it out, and I wanted to hear him stretching and showing his range. The lyrics are ok , not brilliant, but honest, at least. They too, however, are a bit repetitive, and I would have liked to hear something else during the change from the chorus, it needs two distinct melodies to have dichotomy between the chorus and the verses, and the verses should speak of other things that are related, I wanted to hear some analogies and comparisons lyrically and those were missing. I feel this song did not achieve those things, but on the whole, it was a fairly enjoyable listening experience. Again, very well done, very professional. I would give it four and a half stars if the verses had covered more new territory, and if the melody had been more distinctly different between the verses and the chorus, and if Travis had been able to show more range and power at some point But considering that, and the limited message communicated lyrically, I give it 3 and a half stars. It's worth listening to, but isn't destined for greatness. Travis and the band, on the other hand, may very well be.

Your Love will Never change, Though it would have been nice to hear a lyric change.?

Ok, First of all, the song itself is well mixed and mastered and I could not fault it there. Not that I want to fault the song as from the first chord it drew me in, its just I like to give a proper review. For me It has a real early David Bowie feeling to it, the singer has really got it zoned in and he drew me in at times, my only downfall there would be it sounds dated, Like something that came from the eighteens. The last two things I thought it lacked was a key change in the form of a middle eight, to me it sounded like it was going over and over and playing the same thing (Cut and Paste) and the fact that the same lyrics where being sang over and over did'nt help either. Other than that I enjoyed it, with an extra few lyrics, a middle eight and maybe a guitar solo it would be very nice indeed.
