New Treebeard line-up
Danny (drums) is off at Huddersfield University studying sound engineering, and Paul (bass, vocals) is concentrating on our original progressive rock band Haze, and helping Cat (fiddle, mandolin) cope with two small children (hello Hazel & Lilly!). So they've stepped back from Treebeard, leaving Ceri & myself to recruit good friends James Howe on cahon (Silver Darlings, Bellhagg Orkestar), Rob Lowdon on guitar, bass & vocals (from Jabberwocky & Broadsword) & Paul Pearson on guitar, percussion & vocals, to keep the 'Heavy Wood' sound going.
We've already played a handful of shows together, but have a very busy November coming up with gigs at the Red Deer, Pitt Street, Sheffield S1 4DD this Saturday 12th, The Porter Cottage, Sharrow Vale Road S11 8ZL on Sunday 20th (4-6pm), Maida Vale, West Street S1 4EP (8-10pm) on Friday 25th, The Forest, Rutland Street, S3 9PA on Saturday 26th and an Anti Fracking Benefit at the Shakespeare, Gibraltar Street S3 8UB on Sunday 27th (3-10pm) featuring an all star line-up of Sheffield bands, more details here.
It doesn't slow down much in December either, with a Haiti Benefit at St John's Church in Bamford on Sunday 4th, and an appearance at DogFest at the Black Market in Warsop NG20 0AB on Friday 16th.
We're all still busy with solo shows & our other bands too, check out Rob Lowdon, Paul Pearson, Follow The Moon and of course the Haze Christmas Concert at the Shakespeare on Saturday 17th December, tickets onsale here https://www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Sheffield/Shakespeare's/Haze-Christmas-Show/12856604/.

Cheers,
